Delete your Vumi account

You can delete your Vumi account and everything stored with it at any time.

In the app or on the web (instant)

1. Open Vumi and log in.
2. Tap your profile icon (top right) → Account.
3. Tap Delete next to "Delete account", and confirm.

Without the app

Email support@vumi.life from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Vumi account". We'll confirm and delete it within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your account (name, email, password), your Vumi and how it looks, your chats and photos, call transcripts, everything Vumi remembers, your settings, and your notification tokens. This can't be undone.

What we keep

Nothing that identifies you. If you reported a message, the report (without your name or email) may be kept to help make Vumi safer. Our AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) may keep request data for up to 30 days for safety monitoring under their API terms, then delete it.

If you have a Vumi Plus subscription, deleting your account doesn't cancel the payment. Please cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
